MERE LITERARY FESTIVAL POETRY COMPETITION 2005

There were 323 adult entries and thanks go to all for their support of our competition in aid of the charity Mere & District Linkscheme. Twenty-five poems were short-listed for the final round of judging and the authors received a Certificate of Distinction.

Our thanks and appreciation also go to David Caddy the judge of the festival’s Open Poetry Competition, Sue Boddington, judge of the Local Competition, kindly sponsored by Mere & District Chamber of Trade and Valerie Bridge, judge of the Junior Competition.
