Do you have a story you want to tell about your life or someone in your family, but not sure how to approach it?
This workshop will explore what makes a powerful story, whether your goal is telling a story, writing a story, biography or simply creating a record for future generations.
We'll look at elements of an engaging story by working with verbal storytelling (in small groups) and looking at how it translates to the page.
If you have an idea, a family anecdote or a bit of family history that you think could be engaging then bring this along - you should come away with ideas and tools that you can use to create your story and hone your existing skills.
