2009 RESULTS
There were 375 adult entries (plus over 70 juniors) which came from all over
the country, Europe, and New Zealand. Each poem, identified only by its title
and competition number, was read at least three times and twenty-six poems selected
for the final round of judging in the Open Section and a Certificate of Distinction.
A further 27 poems were awarded a Certificate of Merit. We were delighted to
welcome a large crowd to the Award Ceremony to hear Louis de Bernières talk on
poetry, listen to the excellent adjudications and to receive their certificates
and prizes.
