2012 Write in the Week Competition Results

The theme for this year's competition was '...a race against time...'

There were 131 adult entries to the timed flash fiction competition and 42 Juniors. Stories came in from around the country and overseas – one junior entry coming from Tasmania via her grandmother’s computer!

All stories were given a competition number and judged anonymously. The entries were first read by a panel of readers who selected a short list and the final decision in the senior section was made by novelist James Long, the speaker for the award ceremony.
